A stand with low environmental impact: the Almec Group case

Almec Group is a company specialising in the production of semi-finished and finished products for the upholstered furniture sector. CO2 emissions reduced by 90%

At Interzum 2023, one of the world’s most important trade fairs for the furniture supply and interior design sector, Almec Group commissioned WABi with the design and ABS Group with the production of its exhibition stand.

The stand was built using beMatrix aluminium profiles for the structures covered with recyclable dye-sublimation-print fabrics.
The choice not to use wood, plasterboard or paint, but environmentally sustainable materials that can be taken down and reused led to a reduction in CO2 emissions of over 90%.
This figure was obtained with certainty thanks to software developed for beMatrix to measure the carbon footprint of stands.

The Almec Group case is therefore a significant testimony as to how it is possible to have an approach consistent with your environmental philosophy even when participating in trade fairs and events.


The new trade fair guidelines
