ABS Group publishes its first sustainability report
Making environmentally friendly choices and returning value to the region that hosts our company have always been two priority goals for us. With our proposals, approach and vision, we are convinced that we can leave our mark and generate a positive impact on everything around us.
Today, in Italy, we are the first company in the textile printing sector to publish a sustainability report, confirming our attention and awareness where environmental and social issues are concerned. This document, in fact, presents and analyses our strategies in the field of sustainability, the results we have achieved, the goals we intend to pursue, and the commitments we must meet.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The sustainability path we are implementing is in line with the Agenda 2030, which includes 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), defined in 2015 to address various social, economic and environmental challenges by 2030. In our sustainability report, we present the actions we have taken to achieve certain goals, progress made and targets reached.
Synesgy Certification
The Synesgy certificate is awarded to companies that demonstrate a high level of compliance with ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles, in line with national and international best practices. ABS Group obtained a B score, which confirms the tangible commitment and effectiveness of the policies adopted by our company in the field of sustainability.

Materiality analysis
The sustainability report includes a section on materiality analysis, which is the final output of a complex process of assessing all ESG issues that we have identified as relevant. This assessment combines external factors that may affect the company’s financial and operational stability and the internal policies and practices that may impact the environment and society. Decisive in this process was the involvement of employees, who were called on to take part in definition and prioritisation of internal material issues.
Our path towards sustainability
The publication of our first sustainability report is an important step along a wider path, one we have been following for some time and which we intend to continue with conviction. This report, which will be updated annually, shows how our company is constantly evolving and interacting with its social environment.
