Magister Art
Exhibition on textile architecture
Promoted and organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with Confindustria Marmomacchine and ICE Agency and with the artistic and creative direction of Magister Art, the exhibition “MARMO: Marble. Carving the Future” is based on a new transmedia exhibition format. The concept, dedicated to the marble supply chain, highlights the deep interconnections between culture, territory, creativity and manufacturing quality that distinguish the uniqueness of Made in Italy in the world.
The exhibition route is developed through different environments, which allow the visitor to live an immersive visual and sound experience, in a series of video and images of great emotional impact. Access is through a 5×3 m portal, covered in fabric and enriched by a system of LED lights on the floor. The set-up also includes three huge semi-open structures with irregular shapes, tailor-made with aluminium frames. Inside each one, the back wall is covered with a projection fabric, while the side walls and the covering element are covered with heat-absorbing foils that reflect the projection creating a very suggestive visual effect. The immersive room, entirely made of beMatrix profiles covered in fabric, is another space dedicated to the enjoyment of different video projections. An aluminium and black fabric case houses a repertoire of marble materials and natural stones for the tactile experience and precedes a model of a city composed of futuristic architecture in marble and stone.
The choice to use aluminium and fabric structures, combined with different technologies and multimedia supports, has perfectly responded to the need to create a strong visual impact fitting that adapts to the spaces in which it is housed. The exhibition “MARMO: Marble. Carving the Future” is in fact the protagonist of a world tour, which began in 2023 and will continue until 2025 touching different venues in Europe, Asia and America.
