Also with a view to sustainability and the circular economy, we have recovered and given new life to the former SNIA Viscosa industrial complex in order to carry out careful architectural restoration that will transform it into our offices and production headquarters. A decision characterised by its double added value: functional, given the light-filled spaces, set within the fabric of the city along the Meschio river and symbolic, as a sign of continuity for textile production. The interiors are generous and filled with light and have indoor and outdoor areas for employees to relax and take breaks.
Ensuring a safe working environment is fundamental for promoting the wellbeing of employees. It is essential to spread a culture of safety at all levels, as this encourages responsible behaviour with the aim of reducing accidents to zero. An important choice made by the ABS Group is the use of water-based inks, free from solvents and harmful substances. In addition, the fabrics used are made of recycled, recyclable polyester yarns that are OEKO-TEX® 100 certified.

Human resource management and corporate culture are based on essential principles such as diversity, equal opportunity, and inclusion, all of which are crucial to creating a fair and respectful working environment. ABS Group recognises the value of diversity and freedom of expression as fundamental pillars for company growth. ABS Group is committed to eliminating all forms of discrimination through training initiatives and company projects, such as surveys and thematic workshops, aimed at spreading an inclusive culture. This focus is officialised in the code of ethics drawn up in 2023.
ABS Group places great value on training, which is considered a key element in the growth and constant improvement of employees’ skills, as well as in organisational development. Every year, we give paramount importance to employee health and safety training. At the same time, we organise technical specialisation courses to consolidate and develop the specific skills of each professional. In 2023, our first course on sustainability in the company was held in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese Marca Trevigiana. We also decided to design an activity to involve employees on sustainability issues and to have them participate in the course held so far with the working group.
Every year, ABS Group actively supports and contributes to the development of our local community with donations and partnerships with cultural, social, and sporting organisations. Numerous sponsorships and participation in events, discussion tables and business exchanges have enriched a valuable network of corporate relations.
ABS Group has been a technical partner of Confindustria Veneto Est for some time now. It sponsors the annual Public General Meeting by providing backdrops in aluminium and fabric and some of the indoor signage.
The objective of the Confindustria Veneto Est Sustainability Week is “To spread knowledge and awareness of virtuous behaviour to reduce our impact on the Planet”. ABS Group has supported this initiative since the very first edition, creating the aluminium and fabric structures for the event in the Province of Treviso.
For years, ABS Group has supported the Vittorio Veneto LILT (Italian League for the Fight against Tumours) by supplying various materials. It recently helped the association with setting up the temporary exhibition “Pinocchios in the Gallery” at the Vittorio Emanuele II Civic Gallery, one of the “October in Pink” campaign events.
The company supported this multi-venue festival showcasing 135 photos by 60 Italian and foreign artists, exponents of street and reportage photography. Aluminium and fabric display cubes and prints of the photos made by ABS Group decorated Piazza dell’Università and the interiors of the Fondazione Architettura Treviso.
Every year ABS Group shows its commitment to the community by actively supporting local sports clubs, thus helping to promote sport and to foster the development of young local talent. In particular, in 2024 the company sponsored Madruk Trail Running Team and Vittorio Veneto Rugby.
