#180°Experientiality

An installation that contributed to increase the involvement level and the experientiality of the stand was the Photobooth 180° station, adjacent to the exhibition section: the visitors had fun by taking pictures of themselves in different poses and by obtaining three-dimensional micro-videos in stop-motion to be shared on the social media.

The project

ABS Group, ETT and Corepixx share the 1P/Primo Piano showroom in the heart of Milan, an experiential space that presents various fitting-out proposals in order to make dynamic and involving the retail, contract, museum and company settings. From this positive synergy the decision to share the Forum Retail project and to participate in the event (29-30 November) was born with a 1P/Primo Piano branded stand.

Designed as simulations of real situations, the installations inside the stand were born by a common planning and by the combination of products and solutions given by each company. A winning mix in order to make the shopping experience involving and unforgettable.

The main structure of the stand was created by ABS Group in aluminium, covered by printed fabric and enriched by the integration of various elements: sliding monitors, planned sensory systems, shelves and magnetic hooks, dynamic and non-orthogonal lightboxes.

Furthermore augmented and virtual reality stations, an interactive showcase designed for Guess and a multitouch panel were set up. Within some of the products, such as the magic mirror and the interactive panel, RFID and POS systems were integrated in order to allow the customer to complete the purchase procedure autonomously with his credit card: an added value that simplifies and make smoother also the payment phase inside the stores.

What was the outcome?

A dynamic and well-structured environment, with a high visual impact, that presented numerous functional solutions for the retail, by offering to the visitors the possibility to test each station and to discover uses and potentialities.

Adjacent to the exhibition section, an area devoted to a Photobooth 180° was created, an innovative and amusing multimedia station, composed of an aluminium and fabric structure and 24 cameras arranged in a semicircle. Inside the Photobooth 180° the visitors could take a picture of themselves by the cameras simultaneously and thus obtained a micro-video that transformed the two-dimensional scene into a three-dimensional one. An example of how the entertainment can be applied not only in the events or in the amusement places but also in the retail environment.
