The project

While aiming to exploit the spaces suitably, we mainly set out to give shape to the creative idea of “Dressing Beauty” by Aldo Coppola Jr: following the interpretation of architect Anton Kobrinetz. From the counters and equipped walls to the lamps and original hourglass-shaped displays: The new Coppola atelier has literally ‘dressed’ itself with printed and personalized ABS Group fabrics, thus creating an elegant and innovative furnishing system. This project gave us the opportunity to introduce and present some new products: the  back lighting of the structures with RGB LEDs, which change colour, and the new material Shape, which is a fabric made of 50% polyester and 50% steel. The metal threads inserted into the fabric’s weave make it mouldable. Using only manual work and sewing, it allows impressive and dynamic 3D surfaces to be created.
From the two sculptural welcome desks at the entrance, back-lit and embellished with glass tops and the sculpture-installation hourglass displays standing over two metres high that change colour with RGB LEDs, to the over 20 aluminium and fabric lamps and the 24 back-lit walls, equipped with shelves and drawers: the new Aldo Coppola atelier today is now a bright and innovative space which confirms the important role of fabrics in creating furnishing systems for the retail sector.
